Luka Doncic Casually Scores 48 Points in Olympic Debut

The 22 year old phenom continues to amaze, while simultaneously making it look so easy. Olympic competition is apparently no different for Doncic as he dominated in his first game and lead Slovenia to victory over Argentina.

Not only did Doncic drop 48 points, he did so in an impressive and efficient manner by shooting 62% overall (18-29 FG) and 43% from beyond the arc with 6 of his 14 shots from deep falling. On top of the scoring he also contributed by collecting 11 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Continuing to prove and establish himself as a basketball star with the rare ability to impact the game in multiple ways.

In a year that finds Team USA struggling more than recent memory can recall, the growing success of Luka Doncic and other international stars continues to close the gap between Team USA and the rest of the world when it comes to basketball.
