According to recent reports, Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, underwent a four-day darkness retreat that allowed him to find the “inner peace” he was seeking. Although Rodgers did not reveal any decisions regarding his football future, he did promise to make a decision soon during a recent interview on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast.
This comes as Packers general manager, Brian Gutekunst, stated that there has been little to no conversation with Rodgers since their end-of-season meetings in mid-January. Gutekunst expressed his hopes for a decision before free agency begins in less than two weeks.

Currently, it seems that both Rodgers and the Packers are still considering three options: a return to the Packers, a trade to another team, or retirement. However, Gutekunst has been sounding less committed to wanting Rodgers back and stated that he needs to have additional conversations with Rodgers before a path forward can be established.
Rodgers shared that his perspective on the decision changed during his retreat in a remote part of southern Oregon. Initially, he felt as though he had two options: retirement or an unknown future with the Packers or another team. However, his time in the darkness retreat allowed him to find inner peace and clarity, which could have a significant impact on his decision.
Regardless of what path Rodgers chooses, it seems that the future for the star quarterback will become more evident in the coming days. As fans eagerly await his decision, one can only hope that Rodgers will make the best choice for himself and his football career.
