The clown show continues. Despite expressing interest in hiring Byron Leftwich, Shad Khan and the Jaguars opt to retain Trent Baalke as GM, and move forward with hiring former Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl winning head coach Doug Pederson.

The hashtag #FireBaalke was trending multiple times throughout the week, as fans expressed their displeasure with the team’s decision to retain Baalke rather than moving on from him when Urban Meyer was fired. In the end, those concerns fell on deaf ears as the organization continues to propel itself into an endless cycle of suck.

Let’s Not Forget, This Quote From January 2021
“Urban Meyer is who we want and need, a leader, winner and champion who demands excellence and produces results.”
Shad Khan statement on hiring Urban Meyer
Fans will of course be hoping for the best, but until the Baalke situation gets addressed the team is likely to be disjointed with different visions and goals coming from various levels of management and ownership.
