WEEK 14: SUNDAY RAPID REACTION

Sunday was full of divisional matchups, which resulted in a flurry of great matchups on paper. The Eagles smoked the Giants and secured their place atop the NFC. The Lions ambushed the Vikings and opened the door for the number 2 seed in the NFC to the NFC West champion. The Jaguars exercised demons and won for the first time in Nashville since 2013. The Bills navigated the weather and got revenge against the Jets. The Bengals finally beat the Browns, but it came with a price as Higgins and Boyd left with injuries. The Ravens overcame injuries and capitalized on 3 Mitch Trubisky interceptions to get their 9th victory. The Cowboys overlooked their instate rival Texans and almost paid the price for it.

The late kickoffs lacked excitement and suspense. The 49ERS annihilated Tom Brady and Tampa Bay. The 9ers reasserted their place in the NFC, showing they are ready for a long fight. The Chiefs saddled the Broncos and officially eliminated them from playoff contention. Denver did. provide a fight in the 2nd half, but Kansas City held on. The best game in the late kickoff window was between Carolina and Seattle. Sam Darnold guided the Panthers to a big road win that keeps them alive in the NFC South race. The Seahawks have lost 3 of their last 4 and have a tough road ahead. The Dolphins west coast horror story continued as they were owned by the Chargers.
