THIS WEEK IN SPORTS: DECEMBER 12TH – 18TH

A lot of hardware is on the line this week in the sporting world. The World Cup semifinals take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by the World Cup Final on Sunday. Will France repeat as World Cup Champions, will Messi finally capture the Cup or will the Cinderella’s shock the universe? We will also crown College Football Division II and Division III National Champions this week, in addition to the FCS Semifinals. All in all, another full week of football.

The NFL expands game action to Saturday with a triple header on NFL Network. The NHL, NBA and College Basketball worlds continue to move forward in their regular seasons. There is no shortage of sports on the calendar this week.
