We are inching closer to the playoffs and the picture is still developing. The 1pm window saw a lot of twists and turns. The Jaguars and Lions demolished their lifeless opponents to remain active participants in the playoff hunt. TB12 and the Buccaneers messed around early, but rallied to win the NFC South with their win over Carolina. The Giants crushed the Colts to clinch a playoff spot, capping off a great turn around. Two teams failed to control their own destiny as the Dolphins lost their 5th straight and the Commanders move to Carson Wentz yielded 3 interceptions and a loss. The Browns offense was clicking, giving fans a glimpse of what the Watson to Cooper connection can be. The Falcons battled and hit a game winning field goal as time expired. The Eagles lost their 2nd straight without Jalen Hurts, leaving the top seed available for other suitors.
The late kicks brought additional excitement. The Jets continued to stumbled as they were crushed by the Seattle Seahawks. Geno Smith has now beaten all of his former teams in the same season. The Chargers won the Battle of LA and the Rams now own the record for most losses in a season as the defending champion. The Green Bay Packers crushed the visiting Vikings to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Packers defense was lights out, Special Teams was electric and the offense punished Minnesota. The 49ERS and Raiders battled into Overtime with SAN Francisco surviving their weekend in Sin City. Davante Adams carried the Raiders but he doesn’t play defense. Mike Tomlin and the Steelers are still alive after a gritty win in Baltimore.

The Monday Night matchup is best of the season as the Bills travel to Cincinnati. This game has major AFC playoff seeding implications.
