Week 11 is another classic example that the NFL is extremely unpredictable. The Detroit Lions won their third straight after taking down the upstart Giants. The Vikings were coming off a monumental victory in Buffalo, but got utterly destroyed by the Cowboys. The Vikings are 8-2 with a negative point differential. Another team that beat the Bills in their previous game got brought back to earth as the Jets lost their 14th straight to the Patriots. Cordarrelle Patterson set the NFL record for kick returns for touchdowns with his 9th against the Bears.
The overall schedule was not very appealing. The Commanders beat the Texans, the Falcons beat the Bears and the Raiders beat the Broncos. These games were nearly played for fantasy football and top 10 draft pick purposes. The Eagles rebounded from their loss to Washington by defeating the Colts. The Bills avoided historical snow and another loss by beating the Browns in Detroit. The Bengals still can’t really solve the Steelers defense, but they survived this encounter and emerged with a win. The Ravens looked like a shell of themselves but survived the Panthers.
