The Bills and Chiefs gave us another amazing battle on Sunday. In my humble opinion, they are the 2 best teams in the NFL hands down, but unfortunately only one can play in the Super Bowl. I hope they meet in Buffalo with the AFC crown on the line during a blizzard. There were other AFC contenders like the New York Jets, Bengals, Patriots and Colts who asserted themselves with strong victories. The Dolphins and Ravens might have lost a little ground with their losses, but have time to regroup.
The NFC East outside of Washington are legit playoff contenders. The New York Giants might be the most impressive considering some of their depth struggles. The NFC North is owned by the Vikings. They possess a solid lead in the standings and own a much larger quality of play separation from the Packers based on play on the field. The Packers have looked soulless the past 2 weeks and this could be the beginning of their season spiraling downward. Another veteran team looking soulless are the Tom Brady led Buccaneers who lost to the lowly Steelers. They were joined by the Saints and Panthers in the losing category with the Falcons being the only NFC South squad to win. The NFC West has also been less than spectacular, but the Rams and Seahawks were able to walk away with wins. The NFC outside of the East and Minnesota is a mess.
