The calendar was loaded with big time matchups and they lived up to the intensity. The Titans showed signs of life in their victory over the winless Raiders. The Colts also rose from the dead to defeat the Chiefs. To complete the ownership of the AFC West by the AFC South, the Jaguars made a statement in Hollywood and neutralized the Chargers.
There were 2 games being played in Florida that have serious playoff implications. There was a battle on South Beach between the undefeated Bills and Dolphins. The Bills filled up the stat sheet, but not the scoreboard. The Dolphins made plays when it counted and are now 3-0. The other game in the Sunshine State was a battle of QB legends. Unlike previous matchups, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers prevailed victorious. It was a defensive struggle and both QB’s we’re trying to ignite offenses that were not 100%. A few other impressive efforts were produced by the Ravens, Eagles, Vikings, Falcons and Bengals. On the other side, the Sunday Night tilt in the Mile High City was not impressive, but a win for the Broncos.
