The month of May saw some teams separate themselves from the pack. We also saw the Reds, Nationals and Royals struggle immensely. The Astros shrugged off a slow April and strung together a bunch of wins. The Yankees and Brewers were hit with significant injuries, yet they continued to win. The Mets, Dodgers, Padres, Angels, Twins and Rays also continued push toward October. In addition to team successes, Trea Turner and Paul Goldschmidt ended the month with hitting streaks over 20 games. These feats were overshadowed by Reid Detmers and his no hitter on May 10th.
