Anyone else getting excited for the SEC Championship Game between Georgia and Alabama? The Bulldogs proved that they are an elite level team very capable of winning both the SEC Championship, and the College Football Championship.
Lee Corso “Gronk-Spikes” Arkansas Helmet
The popular College Football personality was in Athens, Georgia along with Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the Gameday crew. Corso opted for a new and more unique way of providing his pick for the game, as he alternated holding up a Georgia helmet and an Arkansas helmet before ultimately “Gronk-spiking” the Arkansas Razorbacks helmet emphasizing his belief in the Georgia Bulldogs.
Scoring Early and Often
The Georgia Bulldogs offense wasted little time in finding the end zone, as the team scored rushing touchdowns on back to back drives to start the game. From start to finish Georgia “Gronk-spiked” the entire Razorbacks team.
Defense Refused To Be Outdone
Following the 2nd rushing touchdown that put Georgia ahead 14-0, the Bulldogs defense and special teams decided it was time to put their stamp on the game.
After the defense forced a quick punt from Arkansas inside their own 10 yard line, the special teams unit came after it and succeeded. Blocked punt recovered for a touchdown. Georgia goes up 21-0 and never looked back.

Making A Case To Be #1
Going into the day, the Georgia and Arkansas game was billed as a battle between two top ten ranked SEC football teams. The result was reminiscent of high school, when the varsity would scrimmage the junior varsity.
At no point did it appear that the Arkansas Razorbacks were anywhere close to Georgia’s level. Outplayed in every phase of the game by the Bulldogs.
