2023 AFC PREDICTIONS

The AFC is beyond loaded across the board in 2023. The AFC East and AFC North will be fierce battles all season and we could easily see 5 of the 7 AFC playoff teams emerge from these divisions. The extremely talented AFC teams are also guided by accomplished quarterbacks like Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Lawrence, Herbert, Tagovailoa, and others. The AFC East race has been escalated by the arrival of Aaron Rodgers and Dalvin Cook. The Bills have owned the division the past few years, but their division dominance and Super Bowl window might be closing. The AFC North is rich in tradition and any one of the 4 could win the division. The AFC South should be owned by the Jaguars considering 2 teams are in rebuild mode and the Titans are a mystery. The AFC West is the Chiefs Kingdom and I don’t see that changing this year. The division has a new head coach with Sean Payton’s arrival in Denver, but I doubt he guides them to a finish higher than 3rd in the West. The AFC might have more elite teams than the NFC, but only 11 realistically have a chance at the postseason. The AFC is going to be an amazing battle from September 7th thru the AFC Championship Game. The biggest questions are focused around the Chiefs and if they can repeat as well as the Jets living up to lofty expectations. Every game will be must watch tv this season!
