The North Carolina Tar Heels recently claimed a much-needed victory on the road against the Florida State Seminoles. The game was a must-win for the Tar Heels, who have been teetering on the bubble of qualifying for the postseason. With their season hanging in the balance, every game is now critical for the team.
North Carolina’s sharpshooting from beyond the arc was once again the key to their success in the game against Florida State. Similar to their last game against Virginia, the Tar Heels started off hot, sinking eleven 3-pointers in the first half alone. The team’s lead had grown to 18 points by halftime, putting them in a strong position for the remainder of the game.

Unfortunately, Armando Bacot had a tough time finding his footing in the game, not scoring any points in the first half due to foul trouble. He struggled in the second half as well, but did manage to avoid being scoreless.
Leaky Black had an outstanding performance, hitting three of four 3-pointers and finishing with 18 points and 9 rebounds. RJ Davis also had a strong showing with 19 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Additionally, Pete Nance contributed a double-double, with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Next up for North Carolina is their final game of the regular season, a must-win matchup against their arch-rivals, the Duke Blue Devils. Although the rivalry may have lost some of its luster without legendary coaches Roy Williams and Mike Krzyzewski at the helm, the Tar Heels will need to be at their best to secure a victory against Duke.
With everything on the line for North Carolina, this game promises to be a must-see event. Fans will be eagerly watching to see whether the Tar Heels can pull off a win and cement their place in the postseason.
