Week 13 had a great schedule across the board. Aaron Rodgers, Christian Watson and the Packers defeated the Bears. This wasn’t just a normal ownership accomplishment by Aaron Rodgers. The Packers passed the Bears to secure sole possession of 1st place in all time victories with 787. In action elsewhere, the Eagles and AJ Brown flew past the Titans. The Steelers survived their trip to Atlanta but their offense has room for improvement. The Lions absolutely dismantled the Jaguars in Ford Field. The Browns captured a victory in Houston, but it was not because of DeShaun Watson’s play. The Jets gave the Vikings a great fight, but Minnesota held on to win their 10th game. The NFC East showdown between the Commanders and Giants ended in a tie and hit the under on total points. The matchup between Mr Unlimited and Lamar was painful to watch, but the Ravens prevailed 10-9. It is noteworthy that Lamar Jackson did leave the game injured.
The late games were littered with intriguing matchups. The Bengals beat the Chiefs for the 3rd time in 2022. They have a tough remaining schedule, but this victory announces that they intend to defend their AFC crown. A few other AFC contenders took a step backward with road losses. The Dolphins lost to a Brock Purdy led 49ers squad and the Chargers busted in Vegas. It is evident that the Chargers are the Chargers; a team incapable of being above 500 in December. The Chargers and Dolphins meet next week in prime time, which could be an elimination game for the Bolts. The 49ers are in great shape in every facet except the quarterback now that Jimmy G is lost for the year. The Seahawks survived their trip to LA and are still very much alive in the NFC playoff picture. The Cowboys absolutely embarrassed the Colts on Sunday night with an impressive effort across the board.
