New York Jets Trade for Jags Running Back James Robinson

The New York Jets make an aggressive move in response to the Breece Hall knee injury, sending a draft pick to Jacksonville in exchange for running back James Robinson.

The New York Jets are doing their best to continue capitalizing on their hot start. Rookie running back Breece Hall has played a big role in the Jets early season success thus far, which makes his season ending injury that much worse.

However the Jets front office seems focused on keeping the momentum going and they executed a trade to bring in another young and talented running back to replace the injured Breece Hall. The Jets traded a 6th round pick that could become a 5th rounder.

James Robinson has had success throughout his time with the Jaguars, averaging 4.5 yards per carry for his career, and 4.2 yards per carry in the 2022 season. Jets fans should be excited that their “going for it” in terms of a commitment to winning. This reaction must be a very encouraging sign for any and all fans of the New York Jets!
