This week takes us into week 2 of the NFL Preseason. Training camp battles heat up and we inch closer to cut down days. Fall camps across the college football universe are well underway. A handful of programs kickoff the season next weekend during Week Zero and everyone joins the fun for Week 1 during Labor Day weekend.
All European Soccer leagues have commenced and the UEFA Champions League Group play matches are coming soon. We have passed the midway point of the MLS schedule and just about every playoff bid is up for grabs. The hunt for a MLB playoff spot continues to heat up with numerous clubs within striking distance of a division title or wild card spot. Teams to keep an eye on over the next few weeks are the Orioles, Twins, White Sox, Brewers, Cardinals and Phillies.
